Ian Haworth
Chair of Trustees
Ian has worked in Social Housing for nearly 30 years and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. His interest in work has always been about putting residents at the heart of decision making. As well as working on front line services, he has also previously managed a number of programmes with other providers to assist residents and their families to get back to work.
Karen Swift
Trustee
Karen has worked in local government for over 25 years with secondments to the Home Office and The Metropolitan Police. Her local government career started in LB Camden, then a time at LB Enfield and a return to LB Camden. She is currently Divisional Director of Housing and Regeneration at London Borough of Tower Hamlets. During her career she has lead initiatives and operational services related to homelessness, housing options, temporary accommodation, private sector conditions, commissioning, asset management as well as being Head of Housing Strategy at LB Camden for 10 years. Karen has a MSc in International Housing from the London School of Economics.
Tracy Argent
Trustee and Woolmore School representative.
Tracy is the Headteacher at Woolmore Primary School and joined the board of Trustees in April 2022.
Sister Christine Frost
Trustee
Sr. Christine worked in a mixed Comprehensive School for over 10 years and has lived and worked in the local community for the past 50 years. She formed Neighbours in Poplar 52 years ago and SPLASH (South Poplar & Limehouse Action for Secure Housing) over 30 years ago. Her main aim is to build an inclusive community.
Stefanie Turton
Trustee
Stefanie has worked in both supported and general needs housing for nearly 20 years, after previously working as a Police Officer. Stefanie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has managed a number of frontline services, with a specialism in Leasehold and Shared Ownership, she was previously on the Board of the Association of Retirement Housing Managers. She believes its paramount to put customers at the heart of housing services, to listen and work collaboratively to create communities that residents are proud to live in.
